Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha announced that he is transgender. Sasha faced a lot of difficulties however he was confident that by the support of his family and music he would be able to take it on. Jim and Sasha are both song writers, and have been formally forming a duo and have been playing at open mics and various other venues in the area. Even though The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he and Jim shared their life journey through a short introduction clip that was played prior to their performance. Sasha and Jim talked about their favorite music, including how he first played guitar at age six. His father is a musician teacher, which made it easier to learn the art for him. Sasha had a difficult time as a teenager with gender identification. In an Instagram post she shared her struggles. Jim however, was overwhelmed with emotions as the post explained how he was unable to be present during these difficult times. Sasha Allen was born as female. Sasha Allen is 19 in the year 2021. Sasha began his journey as an undergraduate male in high school. Sasha declared via Instagram the fact that he is only the third transgender person to have ever been featured on the show.
